The criminal justice system in America touches millions of people – one in 100 adults is behind bars, and one in 31 is under some form of supervision (prison, probation, parole, etc.). The U.S. incarcerates five times more people than Britain does, nine times more than Germany, and 12 times more than Japan.

According to a study by the University of Southern California, people who speak in a more singsongy voice (as opposed to a robotic voice) are more likely to empathize with others. Pitch and rhythm variance in voice is known as prosody.

Some consider "Agadoo" by Black Lace to be the most annoying song of all time.
