The Texas Whip is an offshoot of the West Coast Swing. The dance was popularized at gatherings in the 1960s in Garner State Park, about 60 miles west of San Antonio. In the Dallas and Denton areas, people might call the dance, the Push.

All tequila is mescal, but not all mescal is tequila.
