About AIDS

Material needed for AIDS book

Your submissions are needed! Southwestern University in Georgetown is producing a book about HIV/AIDS and needs creative material to include.

This is a great way to have your original AIDS-related work presented for a good cause. Our volume, "Silenced Thunder: Releasing the Mute Button on the Battle With AIDS" will be a book containing original poetry, prose, photography, art, and activism information.

Inspired by the World AIDS Day candlelight vigil held in City Hall Park in New York City, this book is intended to bring local attention to the struggle faced by millions worldwide.

Submissions are needed in all forms at the very latest by March 1. To send submissions, or for more information, contact Joshua Bruner at brunerj@southwestern.edu or at 512/819-7983. You may also submit works to SU, Box 6215, Georgetown, 78626. E-mail is preferred.

Please don't be shy to send in your work or ask questions. Any support is very much appreciated.
