Volunteer! Texas Swing is June 6

Project Transitions is currently seeking volunteers for its eighth annual Texas Swing on Friday, June 6. Come kick up your heels in support of individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS while enjoying live music by Alvin Crow, excellent barbecue, and an amazing silent auction.

Volunteers are needed throughout Friday, to help set up and decorate in the morning and work various shifts through the evening -- bartenders, table bussers, silent auction monitors, and more!

Project Transitions is one of the most established HIV/AIDS service providers in Austin. Since 1989, their residential hospice, known as Doug's House, has provided support for those whose journey is nearing its end. Project Transitions also provides varied housing options for persons and families suffering from HIV/AIDS, including housing with supportive services for those unable to fully care for themselves, through two apartment complexes and scatter-ed site housing.

For more information or to volunteer, please contact Andrew Reichert at 454-8646 or [email protected].
