    Only Cells: Histological Porn

The Tyrell Gallery, curated by Anna Rock, Lera Niemackl, and Kessler, is a new art/science venue inside the Odin (Austin's fiercest biohacker space). This inaugural public exhibition reveals, among other things, a new series of microscopic photography captured in the lab. Note: These guys are doing shit with cells that you people wouldn't believe; these guys are pushing boundaries that are fun to push. Just, word to the wise, maybe don't ask Leon about his mother.
Opening reception: Fri., Nov. 4, 7-9:30pm. Free.

    Really Small Museum: Widdle Wasteland

Drive on up, walk on by! The latest installation at this neighborhood cynosure is Calder Kamin's small vignette of natural transitions and homage to the one of best recyclers: mushrooms. We, for one, gladly welcome our new mycelial overlords.
    Through Nov. 4. Free.
