    Shen Yun

    Ancient legends, technological innovations, historically authentic costumes, and breathtaking animated backdrops: Shen Yun! Some people fly from other countries or drive hundreds of miles to see it. Others see the same show five or six times. Why? If you'll be experiencing it here for the first time – recommendation: DO IT – you won't understand until you're walking out after the finale, dazed by the kinetic and visual glory of it all.

    Speak No More

    Hideout Studios inaugurates its new performance space with this immersive, wordless, improvised tale inspired by Shakespearean tragedies. Audiences will bear witness to the ghosts of a family of unfortunate souls and their doomed acquaintances as they play out their misfortunes over and over again. Note: Audience members will be required to wear masks covering their mouths throughout the performance, and are cautioned to refrain from speaking or touching the performers.

    The Immigrant

    Mark Harelik's heartwarming drama is based on the true story of a young Russian-Jewish couple who entered America through the port of Galveston, seeking refuge in the tiny town of Hamilton, Texas, in 1909. Starring Huck Huckaby, Cyndi Williams, Joseph Garlock, and Estrella Gonzales. Directed by Don Toner for Austin Playhouse. And here's what our reviewer thought of the show.

    The Mutt-Cracker (Sweet!)

    Darren Peterson's irrepressible Circus Chickendog presents a fun holiday show for all ages, featuring talented rescue dogs performing circus feats, a talking parrot, world-class juggling, unicycling, live music, and many more magical acts.
