When a tight-knit circle of married gays/lesbians find themselves challenged by the perspectives of their dapper transgender friend, it’s clear that the march toward progress is anything but unified. As events unfold, each character grapples with the evolving landscape of LGBTQIA+ rights and acceptance, and conservative hearts are revealed where you’d least expect.
The hardest part of starting up is starting out, so HackOut was created to inspire entrepreneurs in the LGBTQIA community. Participants meet and work with 100+ other entrepreneurs and industry experts, validate ideas, and learn how to create a real company. Read about last year's event here.
Applications due Aug. 22; event is Sept. 10-13. Free.
Make your appointment for curbside pickup at Out Youth and the Transgender Wellness Program's qmmunity closet for bus passes, groceries, hygiene items, art supplies, select gender-affirming items, and more. Days and hours of operation vary.
