    Meeting a black bear on the trail doesn’t have to end badly for you or the bear if you know what the bruin is trying to tell you. Bear expert Daryl Ratajczak gives an online talk on how bears communicate with us.

    The bats have returned to the 350-foot-deep cavern three hours from Austin. Evening tours of the bat emergence have begun with social distancing. Reservations required.

    Due to the pandemic, the annual culinary celebration has been extended from two weeks to four with some of the top eateries in town offering prix fixe lunch or dinner meals with an emphasis on to-go dining. Funds raised go to support the organization’s fund to aid the hospitality industry.
