The annual Austin Film Society Grants program is now open for proposals through June 2. In addition to the $105,000 in cash grants that will be awarded, this year’s grant partners are offering applicants a range of budget-relieving services and cash for every phase of production. Visit the site to read up on the application FAQs, find preparation workshops, and apply online.
Dust off that 15-page short film you wrote and submit it to Production For Use. A caveat: It must take place in Corpus Christi. The winner will have their film funded by local sponsors and be mentored by a team of experienced professionals. Late submissions accepted until July 1.
