!!! (Chk Chk Chk), Algiers, Master Bedroom

Legacy power group !!! (“Chk Chk Chk”) assembled in the mid-Nineties, dropped a self-titled debut in 2001, and have kept up as disciples of dance. The Sacramento-turned-NYC act originated as hardcore converts to post-punk disco devotion led by frontman Nic Offer. On May’s seventh release Shake the Shudder, the group strides forward with fresh guest vocalists and R&B moments, maintaining a sound worthy of physical movement. Soulful Atlanta experimenters Algiers and Seattle clamor from Master Bedroom first.
