  • Laundry & Bourbon with Lonestar

Laundry and Bourbon with Lonestar, two companion one act plays set in backyards of a small Texas town. Three ladies come together to talk about their life's ups and downs. Lonestar follows the life of three small town boys and the events that have shaped them. Both shows give us highs & lows with humor spread around, for good measure.

    Andrew Dismukes

Says here that the Chronicle described this Dismukes as "Extremely Fucking Hilarious." Well, yeah, because it's true. Then the punk (he's only 22, FFS) ditched Austin and moved to New York and now he's writing for Saturday Night Live. Because he's extremely fucking hilarious. (We were right, see? We win!) And now he's back in town for a week at Cap City. Do yourself a favor, comedy-lovers, and don't miss what this guy does with a stand-up stage.
    April 25-28. Wed.-Thu., 8pm; Fri.-Sat., 7:30 & 10pm. $12-23.

    The Lone Bellow

The Lone Bellow jumped from Brooklyn to Nashville to record last September’s third LP Walk Into a Storm, recruiting Americana super producer Dave Cobb to helm the harmony-bursting project. The Music City move proved less a country turn than a spark of soulful fire to the trio’s emotive melodies and vocal interplay, surging with Civil Wars passion while playfully rolling in big hooks live.
