People’s Community Clinic’s Center for Adolescent Health hosts its seventh annual symposium, bringing together health care providers, young people, and adolescent health experts who will present on current issues in teen health and wellness, especially mental health.
Calling all mini Monets! Registration is now open for afterschool and weekend art classes with professional artist and educator Amanda Jones, teaching students ages 8-18. Professional illustrator Carly Dennis also offers a special weekly class for younger artists.

The city's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will feature student artwork in the 2024 Emergency Preparedness Calendar. Central Texas students in kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to create art to be considered for the calendar, which will be distributed at libraries and available for download online.
Kids in sixth through 12th grade are invited to create a 30-second PSA about flood safety, with winners to be announced in individual, foreign language, and team categories.
