    Homeschool Day at the Science Mill

    Focusing on careers in coding, the event allows kids to code their own adventures in Minecraft, try the Harry Potter and the Magic of Coding challenge, experience a coding obstacle course, and more hands-on activities.
    Wed., Dec. 11, 10am-2pm. Ages 2 & under, free; ages 3-18 (or with student ID), $9.50; adults, $11; ages 65 & up, $9; military, $5.50; learning lab, $5.

    Signing Santa

    Children who are deaf or hard of hearing can relay their holiday wishes directly to Santa. Texas School for the Deaf's Sign Choir will perform holiday music, and every kid will take home a free photo with St. Nick and a treat from his workshop.
