  • Beatles Full Moon Concert in the Dark

    On the April Full Moon, come set intentions and indulge in the mesmerizing allure of live acoustic music performed by world-class musicians, surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight. Its a different kind of concert, that begins and ends in darkness, with music and a poem or two surrounding and soothing you. Audience members will be given the choice of bringing their own yoga mats and/or pillows to gaze at the shadows on the ceiling. A circle of chairs will be provided.

    Black and Queer AF

    Aira Juliet hosts an all-Black, all-queer variety show with a vendor market of Black makers, created to "promote, amplify, and center the work of the amazingly talented Black and queer artists and creatives in Austin that define this city." Featuring performances by Jose Da'Hype, Xoy, KB Brookins, Loners Club, "The Prodigy Truth," She 23, Pilika, Fairth Janee, Pedro Dehli, Sinful Purchase, and Mark Anthony Jackson.

      Austin Studio Tour

      Yes, the annual event returns in full force from our friends at Big Medium! The Austin Studio Tour is a free, self-guided celebration of visual art, offering deep looks inside the working areas and showrooms of Austin-based artists and creative collaboratives, three weekends of special exhibitions and installations and craft demonstrations and, well, you know there's likely to be all manner of afterparties rocking the town north, south, east, and west, besides.: Painting. Sculpture. Woodworking. Murals. Glasswork. Metalcraft. Collage. New-media manifestations in all manner of innovative flex. So much art in so many forms, brought into being by a diversity of creative, mark-making, culture-sparking humans. Here, in your city, just waiting to fill your senses with wonder.

      This annual fundraiser brings together the work of artisan potters of all levels – ceramic pots, to be filled with soup of choice and brought home at the end of the event. All proceeds go towards Kids Cafe, a program of the Central Texas Food Bank, and Meals for Kids, a program of Meals on Wheels Central Texas.

      Burgeoning San Antonio rap phenom Mike Dimes and South Carolina Internet Money signee Dro Kenji bring their much-anticipated joint tour to town. It’s been a monster year for the frequent collaborators – Dimes’ breath-of-fresh-air June LP, TEXAS BOY, leaned deep into his Southern roots, while Kenji’s recently released WISH YOU WERE HERE blends cool hip-hop and punk. With appearances from Atlanta’s Sid Shyne and Metro Marrs, Chicago-based Elz the DJ, and more, this show promises a high-octane exhibition for some of the next generation’s hottest talent.
