In the Crafternoon ATX workshop, artists experiment with diverse materials, engage in team-building activities, and use their imaginations to unleash creativity. Young artists will dive into hands-on projects, work with natural materials, learn from special guest artists, explore the outdoors, observe nature, and more. They encourage each other to get messy, learn from mistakes, celebrate successes, and honor the Earth, which provides for us. The program is led by artists of color, indigenous herbalists, and members of the Austin queer community. By keeping a small capacity of students, they are able to offer personal guidance and establish relationships with families. Ages 5-12.
June 19-July 7. $275/week; $70 for drop-in.
