Beatles Full Moon Concert in the Dark
On the April Full Moon, come set intentions and indulge in the mesmerizing allure of live acoustic music performed by world-class musicians, surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight. Its a different kind of concert, that begins and ends in darkness, with music and a poem or two surrounding and soothing you. Audience members will be given the choice of bringing their own yoga mats and/or pillows to gaze at the shadows on the ceiling. A circle of chairs will be provided.Tues. There's a somewhat familiar guest chef for this culinary event at Fall Creek Vineyards out in Driftwood: Cody Taylor, former owner of Austin's Cafe Josie, current kitchen maestro behind Industry in San Marcos, now bringing his acclaimed talents to a dinner with four wine-paired courses at this elegant Hill Country venue of viticulture. Shaved cucumber salad; smoked artichoke tomato bisque; smoked pork ribs; and a dessert taco (that's with a cereal brown sugar taco shell, chocolate mousse, salted cashews, raspberries, and white chocolate). Every Dog Is Lovable
Local pet photogs Dog Days host a campaign to raise funds for nonprofit Hound Rescue, wherein pet parents submit a pic and story of their doggos, and the public votes for their faves. Qualifying dogs get a professional photo shoot and are featured in an upcoming coffeetable book, and prizes are given out biweekly to dogs with the most points.Voting open through March 19. $10 donation to enter, $1 per vote.Online -
