    The Austin Chronicle Virtual Hot Sauce Festival

    The 30th annual Hot Sauce Festival is going virtual this year! Donate to the Central Texas Food Bank to count yourself in on the spicy festivities. The live event will feature winner announcements, hot sauce judging highlights, surprises from Camila McConaughey and Eldorado Cafe, plus music from Go Fever, Como Las Movies, Mike Melinoe, and Nemegata. This fund will support artists from marginalized and at-risk communities that may not be in line for assistance by other Covid-19 relief funds. You can donate to the fund or apply online if you qualify for a grant.

    We Are Blood & Blue Bell’s Annual Pint for Pint

    Summertime calls for ice cream, and for Texans there’s nothing better than Blue Bell. When you donate blood or platelets with We Are Blood, you'll get a pint of the sweet stuff in return. Donors at blood centers can pick up their ice cream after donating; mobile drive donors will receive a voucher redeemable at any We Are Blood donor center.
