    Apply Now for Vote-by-Mail Ballot

    If you're interested in applying to vote by mail for the July 14 special election for Senate District 14 and the primary run-off, send in your application ASAP, as they must be received, not just postmarked, by July 2. If you submit it via email or fax, it must also be sent and received via mail within four days of the electronic submission. Download the application via the county clerk's website and call 512/238-VOTE if you need assistance.

    Art on the Lawn

    Six artists will present their works on the lawn of the Neill-Cochran House Museum, with a portion of sale proceeds going to the museum. The "If These Walls Could Talk" exhibit will also be available to view with limited admissions every 15 minutes due to social distancing. RSVP in advance and wear a mask to the event.

    Download an age-appropriate "Quest Log" (children, youth, teen, or adult), then submit a form whenever a challenge is completed and earn a digital badge. Use the Austin Public Library's curbside pickup or virtual catalog to check out materials to complete your quest.

    DIY Ragweed Control

    Pease Park could use your help. Since we’ve been social distancing, Pease Park Conservancy hasn't been able to host their annual spring volunteer events. They’re asking for volunteers to help curb some of the ragweed and litter that has found itself in Pease Park while also maintaining a safe distance away from each other. This is a DIY project and anyone can get involved; just show up anytime throughout the next month and do your part.

    Donate Blood, Get Free Whataburger

    We Are Blood partners with Whataburger to give all blood donors in June a voucher for a free hamburger. Donate at any WAB mobile drive or at one of their three locations to participate. Due to COVID-19, appointments are mandatory, so call ahead at 512/206-1266 or register online.

    Ghisallo Cycling Initiative Fundraiser

    Ghisallo has partnered with Austin artist JJ Muzacz and the Mosaic Workshop to produce mosaic murals of Black female civil rights leaders such as Wilhelmina Delco and Barbara Jordan.
