    Corps Multiple, the first artistic company created by French artists in Austin, unleashes a performance that "opens a discussion on humanity’s inherent need for belonging, roots, pairs, and marks." With moving bodies, sounds, text, and lights using the techniques of free improvisation. Bonus: live music.

    Ambrosia: Deca{y}dent Pole Dance and Burlesque

    What do those shadowland shimmy-mongers of Velvet Nox bring us this night? Listen: "Immerse yourself in a beautifully unsettling realm, where gold rots, roses bleed, and masks tell more truth than flesh." Featuring an array of scintillating solo performances and an ensemble choreographed by Zoja Ülesoo.

    Ballet Austin: The Nutcracker

    You've heard of this thing? The Nutcracker, right? And here Ballet Austin brings it big and fancy and exquisitely staged, with hundreds of dancers embodying the choreography of Stephen Mills, extraordinary sets and costumes, and Tchaikovsky’s score performed live by the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Witness in wonder as a young heroine faces her fears, rescues her prince, and dreams big during the journey of a lifetime.

    Of Mice & Music: A Jazz Tap Nutcracker

    Here comes Tapestry Dance Company’s unique and highly popular take on the holiday classic, with live jazz music and a swinging sound, featuring an original score performed by Austin musicians. And, of course, some of the world’s best tap dancers.
