  • The Amazing Acro-Cats: Keep It Weird in Austin!

    The Acro-Cats tour supports Rock Cats Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Rock Cats Rescue is focused on saving cats "One Click at a Time" through cat welfare, rescue, and adoption. The Acro-Cats show promotes the importance of bonding and training cats with positive reinforcement, while also finding homes for rescued cats.

    Calling all queer youth – aGLIFF and Austin School of Film are taking applications for two Queer Youth Media Projects this summer! Documentary Filmmaking: June 11 - 15; Narrative Filmmaking June 18 - 22. Students will delve into all aspects of filmmaking from creative to technical. Final projects will screen in September at aGLIFF's film fest. And is absolutely free! For all queer and allied youth!

    EMDR Training Oppurtunity for Therapists

    The City is offering therapists free Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing training in exchange for working with sexual assault survivors through APD Victims Services. EMDR focuses on the disturbing emotions and symptoms that result from traumatic events and helps the brain organically move toward natural healing and positive mental health. As DNA backlogs are being addressed the need for more EMDR therapists is needed.
