Common Ground: The Music Festival Experience

Austin could not be a better home for this exhibit focused on the history of music festivals. Artifacts and concert footage bring the experience alive whether it's Hendrix at Monterey or Queen at Live Aid. Artifacts include Muddy Waters' '59 Martin acoustic played at the '68 Newport Folk Festival, a poster board stenciled sign by Banksy, and Dave Navarro's Jane's Addiction stage getup. Through July 23, Mon.-Sat., 9am-5pm, Sun., 12-5pm. $9-13.
