Beerthoven: Americana
For this final concert of the season, Beerthoven presents a world premiere of its first-ever commissioned work: Dream Songs by composer Elizabeth Comninellis. It's a new song cycle for soprano, cello, and piano, to be performed here by vocalist Icy Simpson-Monroe, pianist Artina McCain, and cellist Liz Lee. And there'll be even more music in the Americana vein, along with free beer and other refreshments.April 27 & 29. Fri., 7:30pm; Sun., 3pm. $10-25.
