Qualified individuals are sought to serve on the five-member volunteer commission that makes recommendations on human resources actions for covered city employees. Time commitment varies but is around 20 hours per month, and applicants must be qualified voters and Austin residents.
The two bodies will meet to discuss changes to the Land Development Code: allowing up to three housing units on single-family properties; revising regulations that apply to properties with two housing units; and removing restrictions on the number of unrelated adults living in a housing unit. Public comment is welcome in person or by phone.
