    Banned Books Bash

    Here's a fun, irreverent celebration of books, writers, readers, and the freedom to read whatever we please! This Library Foundation party coincides with National Banned Books Week, which was launched in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of challenges to books in schools, bookstores, and libraries.: Featured books include The Awakening, The Hate U Give, The Hunger Games, Slaughterhouse-Five, It's Perfectly Normal, and more.
    Thu., Sept. 27, 6-8pm. $12.
