The 16th annual Texas Book Festival runs Oct. 22-23 on and around the Texas Capitol grounds (11th Street and Congress Avenue). All sessions are free and open to the public; arrive early to ensure seating. This year the festival debuts a new Saturday night block of programming called Lit Crawl, situated at various locales (many of them very fine drinking holes) on and around East Sixth Street.
