Texas Book Festival Announces Lineup

Heavy-hitter attendees include Margaret Atwood, Jonathan Safran Foer, and Jonathan Lethem

Fans of literary fiction rejoice!: When the Texas Book Festival announced its lineup on Sept. 3, one couldn't help but notice how many big, boldfaced names are among this year's attendees: Margaret Atwood, Jonathan Safran Foer, Jonathan Lethem, Antonya Nelson, Richard Russo, and Colson Whitehead, to name a half-dozen. Oh, hell, here's a half-dozen more: Amanda Eyre Ward, Robert Olen Butler, David Wroblewski, Jeannette Walls, Jim Crace, and Elizabeth Berg. And that's just fiction; nonfiction heavy hitters like Douglas Brinkley, Bryan Burrough, Po Bronson, and Cheever biographer Blake Bailey will also be storming the Capitol on Halloween weekend, alongside other authors not brought to you by the letter "B."

For more info, including complete lineup, see www.texasbookfestival.org.
