Man and nature joined forces in the beginning of the 20th century, creating a euphoric summer blessing known as Deep Eddy. With a clean cement finish and spring-fed water like Barton Springs (but at a fourth of the size), the oldest pool in Austin is a little slice of heaven in the Texas heat.
