ATX Television Festival 2019

June 6-9, 2019

Founded in 2012, ATX Television Festival has quickly distinguished itself among Austin’s admittedly overcrowded festival calendar. So what is it? It’s not a fan fest, exactly – though ATX attendees are an especially ardent bunch, lining up hours in advance to catch reunions of their favorite shows like The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, and Battlestar Galactica. It’s not an industry event, even if it does attract top talent to talk about their craft. And it’s not an upfronts presentation – which isn’t to say that networks and cable alike don’t see the value in debuting new shows and and sneaking episodes to the enthusiastic ATX crowd. So what is it? Mostly just a whole lot of fun.
