Award-winning choreographer Jennifer Hart is back, utilizing off-season ballet dancers in contemporary works. A quartet, "Spaces," has to do with "the architecture of relationships," and "Camille: A Story of Art and Love" is based on the tragic life of the sculptor Camille Claudel, a mistress of Auguste Rodin. Minneapolis-based solo performer Nic Lincoln will perform Larry Keigwin's "Glitter Garden," and Arcos Dance will show "Hoaxers," excerpted from the group's upcoming transmedia work,
Domain.
Body Shift: Mixed-Ability Dance Class
Sat., June 11, 2:30-4:30pm. TownLake YMCA, 1100 W. Cesar ChavezOlivia O'Hare, of the 6-year-old project between Forklift Danceworks and VSA Texas, will lead the class using the DanceAbility method for all levels of experience and abilities.
Soul to Sole Tap Festival: Friends in Time Faculty Concert

World-class hoofers Ayodele Casel, Anthony Morigerato, Nicholas Young, Heather Cornell, Tony Waag, Lane Alexander, and Nicole Hockenberry will join Tapestry Dance Company members Siobhan Cook, Jeremy Arnold, and Andrea Torres, an onstage jazz trio, and, of course and thank goodness, the formidable Acia Gray.
