• The Hidden Room's Rose Rage, Zach Theatre's Next to Normal, Trouble Puppet Theater Company's Riddley Walker, and Doctuh Mistuh Productions' Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson were the big winners at Monday night's B. Iden Payne Awards, the 38th presentation of the annual theatre honors and the first since the Paynes were spun off into their own nonprofit after years of sponsorship by the Austin Circle of Theatres and Austin Creative Alliance. For full awards results, visit www.bidenpayneawards.com.

• The Long Center for the Performing Arts has named three new resident companies to its roster, which already includes the trio that have had resident status since it opened: Ballet Austin, Austin Lyric Opera, and Austin Symphony Orchestra. Now, Tapestry Dance Company, Austin Shakespeare, and Pollyanna Theatre Company can also call Austin's Creative Home home. For more information, visit www.thelongcenter.org.

Ann Hume Wilson has made a quick leap from one classical source to another. Three weeks after leaving Conspirare, where she spent three years as executive director, Wilson has joined classical music radio station KMFA 89.5FM as interim general manager. She succeeds Joan Kobayashi, who left to join public radio service organization DEI (Development Exchange, Inc.) in June. For more information, visit www.kmfa.org.
