Support for Sheryl Stack

The Butler School of Music at the University of Texas is looking out for one of its own. Sheryl Stack has been a student there for the past couple of years, quietly working her way toward a graduate degree in collaborative piano. Until last week, that is, when her husband, Joseph Stack, torched their home and flew an airplane into a building, killing one worker there and seriously injuring two others. As the news spread, people throughout the school began asking how they could help Sheryl through this crisis. "I am moved by the expressions of concern and the desire on the part of so many to assist," said B. Glenn Chandler, the school's director. So the administration has arranged with the UT student chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, an international music fraternity, to take donations on behalf of Sheryl Stack and her daughter. Members of the larger community are welcome to offer their support as well. Send donations to:
