You'd be hard pressed to find a local director who has worked as hard for as long as Dave Steakley, and this list shows why.

Dave Steakley has been a busy man during the past 10 years. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find another local director who has worked as much for as long. But telling you that will never have the impact that seeing it for yourself will, so herewith are all the shows that Steakley has directed and the honors they've received lined up back to back. Since 1992, 47 productions, 29 of them new, 18 of them remounts; 22 musicals, 7 straight plays; 2 B. Iden Payne Awards for Outstanding Director of a Musical, 2 Austin Critics Table Awards for Outstanding Director of a Drama, 7 Critics Table Awards for Outstanding Director of a Musical (covering 12 shows in all).
