Austin Murals - A Partial List

September 4, 1998, Arts

Producing a definitive catalog of all the murals in Austin is the kind of endeavor that can't be accomplished by one writer and one publication. Taking into account the works created off the beaten track, in the nooks and crannies of the city's many neighborhoods, and the constant creation of new works of wall art, it might just take a lifetime to find and list all of Austin's murals. Listing a few dozen of the most prominent murals in town is something we can do, however, and so we do, providing the location, artists involved, and date, where known. — S.M.
