Barcelona scored a historic comeback Tuesday night in European Champions League play, blasting AC Milan 4-0, behind two Lionel Messi goals, to become the first team ever to rally from a 2-0 first-leg loss in the competition. Istanbul's Galatasaray advanced as well, with a come-from-behind road win over Schalke in Germany. The final two spots will be decided Wednesday, with Arsenal-Bayern Munich the highlight game... Manchester United, knocked out of the Champions League with a home loss last week to Real Madrid, suffered another home reverse Sunday in the FA Cup, allowing Chelsea to come back from an early two-goal deficit to force a tie and a quarterfinal replay next week in London. Upcoming: World Cup Qualifiers around the world (including USA-Costa Rica) on Friday, March 22.
The Austin Aztex added four more players to their roster last week, including Seth Casiple, a UC-Berkeley midfielder who was Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2011 and trained with the U.S. U-20 Men's national team in 2012; highly-rated Akron Zip defender Robbie Derschang; plus returnees Tony Rocha, a clever midfielder; and Devin Cook, who started half the Aztex's games in goal last year.
