High School Football

Friday night lights are back

The wait has ended. High school football is back. The lights will be shining at all your favorite fields, such as Burger Stadium (Dripping Springs vs. Crockett, Thursday, 7:30pm; Pflugerville vs. Bowie, Saturday, 7:30pm) and House Park (Anderson vs. McCallum, Thursday, 7:30pm). But the big game of the week is most certainly the Westlake Chaparrals taking on the four-time defending state champion Lake Travis Cavaliers, Saturday, 7:30pm on hallowed ground – Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. Enjoy, football fans.
