Man U and AC Milan advance to Champs League final, and more

Between the South by Southwest craziness, the early deadline, and my disgust at Roma's dismal performance in the Champions League, I'm going to keep it short this week. Manchester United and AC Milan advanced to the Champs League final eight on Tuesday – the latter with a dramatic two-goal second-half comeback at Bayern Munich. Chelsea vs. Copenhagen and Madrid vs. Lyon will finish the round of 16 today (Wednesday).

Palestine hosted its first international match ever last Wednesday – an Olympic qualifier which they lost to Thailand. The game in Al-Ram, a West Bank suburb of Jerusalem that's cut in two by Israel's separation barrier, was thought to be the first international athletic competition since 1934 to take place in what are now the Palestinian territories.
