Previewing the 12th Austin Film Festival

Previews based on a pool of advance screeners provided by AFF staff. For full schedule of films and admission information, see www.austinfilmfestival.com. Keep in mind that the festival includes a screenwriters' conference running from Thursday, Oct. 19, through Sunday, Oct. 22. At the conference, David Milch (NYPD Blue, Deadwood) will receive the Outstanding Television Writer Award, Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) will receive the Distinguished Screenwriter Award, and Sydney Pollack (Tootsie) will receive the award for Extraordinary Contribution to Filmmaking.
