Dear Editor, We walkers who use our heels instead of wheels to move about the city have long dodged the auto driving "carbarians,” but now we face the bicycle "handlebarbarians" who disobey stoplights, who seldom honk, and who treat pedestrians like fixed pins in a bowling alley. Sidewalks and crosswalks are for walkers. Please give us a brake. STOP (Stop Terror on Pedestrians).
