Fans of Elliott Smith gathered Aug. 9 at the Scottish Rite Theater to celebrate the late singer-songwriter, in the third of four benefit concerts held around the country. (Other shows took place in Portland, Los Angeles, and New York.) The Austin show, hosted by Jody Denberg, benefited the SIMS Foundation, which provides mental health and addiction recovery services for Austin musicians.
