On Saturday, June 15, resort and spa Travaasa Austin celebrated the launch of its new on-site organic farm with a BBQ Bash featuring food from The Salt Lick and Snow’s BBQ, among other venerable Texas barbecue eateries, plus beer tastings from Austin’s Hops & Grain and other breweries.

Let’s begin the journey at Springdale Farm, one of Austin's many local farms, and experience the life of an Eastside green tomato as it travels from the farm, to the table, and back to the farm again.
