New AISD District Boundary Map
Some voters will be casting ballots in a different district
Fri., Nov. 2, 2012
AISD boundaries have been redrawn since the last school board election, and many voters will find that their district representative has changed since the last AISD election. Voters will decide board of trustee races in three of the seven newly drawn single-member districts, and voters districtwide will cast ballots for an at-large position.
On the ballot
District 2: Incumbent Sam Guzmán faces challenger Jayme Mathias.
District 3: Incumbent Christine Brister suspended her campaign due to illness; Ann Teich is heir apparent to win the seat.
District 5: Amber Elenz and Charlie Jackson are competing for the post being vacated by Mark Williams.
At-Large 8: Gina Hinojosa and Mary Ellen Pietruszynski vie to succeed outgoing trustee Annette LoVoi.

Cheryl Bradley (D1); Vince Torres (D4); Lori Moya (D6); Robert Schneider (D7); Tamala Barksdale (At-Large 9)
