City Budget Meetings

This week's opportunities to weigh in

Over the next two months, the city's Boards and Commissions meetings – some 30 in all – will include departmental budget presentations that will help the city prepare an overall budget for the fiscal year 2012. These public discussions, along with scheduled hearings, provide opportunities for community input before budget season really heats up. To the right are this week's scheduled meetings; for more, see www.cityofaustin.org/finance.

Monday, May 2: Public Safety Commission, City Hall, 301 W. Second, Boards and Commissions Room, 4pm

Tuesday, May 3: Planning Commission CIP Subcommittee, City Hall, Room 3138, 5pm
Minority-Owned Business Enterprises/Women-Owned Business Enterprises Advisory Board, City Hall, Boards and Commissions Room, 5pm

Wednesday, May 4: EMS Advisory Board, RBJ Building, 15 Waller, second-floor conference room, 9:30am
