"Shit, it's so fucking hot!" screeched São Paulo sex kitten Lovefoxxx 15 minutes into CSS' midafternoon thrash-about. Indeed it was, which explains why only the singer sported a full-body floral spandex jumpsuit, though the getup proved handy when jump-roping the microphone cord on "Off the Hook" from 2006 debut Cansei de Ser Sexy (literally, "I'm tired of being sexy"). The überhip sixpiece pumped out synthesized amphetamine soundwaves as Lovefoxxx performed awesomely bad dance moves and indulged her rock & roll fantasies between songs, spitting water on front-row fans, burping and shouting obscenities like she learned them last week. The electro-rockers burned through much of latest Sub Pop release Donkey, even busting out a red 1980s "keytar" for deceptively titled "Let's Reggae All Night," but pelvises pumped most passionately at the sound of iPod anthem "Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex." Hot like a spandex bodysuit in the Texas sun.
