Rational Anthem (Flak)
If Rational Anthem is "the sounds of peace through rocking analog dance beats," then we're in for a bumpy ride. The Austin fourpiece attempts crossing Ghostland Observatory with Rage Against the Machine's political agenda on their 48-minute debut. It's like Haddaway found a copy of GarageBand and is trying to reinvigorate the Aughties with anti-war atrocities blended with his Euro-house spandex. No dice.
