Phil Hanley

This Vancouver native's been rocking audiences across the States (and the united states of late-night TV) for a few years now, and here he is at Cap City, with Steve Gillespie opening. Wed., May 20 - Sat., May 23May 20-23. Wed-Thu., 8pm; Fri.-Sat., 8 & 10:30pm. $10-21.

All's Well with Mac and Joe

That's Mac Blake and Joe Hafkey, of course: those former Jazz Cigarette guys, now taking over the Cap City reins from noble horseman Matt Bearden who's left the slot once held by his long-running Punch! series in their capable hands. (Note: Punch! was so often sold out in advance, we hardly ever mentioned it here, you know? The same might be true of All's Well – because Blake and Hafkey will be filling each Tuesday with talented locals – so book your seats early.) Tuesdays, 8pm. $5-9.

Felipe Esparza

This native of East Los Angeles, seen often on small screens and occasionally on the bigger ones, is "best known for his raw, real-life comedy that audiences everywhere can relate to." Tip: Come relate to him at Cap City this weekend. Wed., May 27 - Sat., May 30May 27-30. Wed.-Thu., 8pm; Fri.-Sat., 8 & 10:30pm. $18-22.
