This may be a bar providing Alamo Drafthouse movie-goers with a new foraging alternative, but Chef John Bullington's snacky menu includes interpretations of classic Mexican street food, such as N.Y. Strip alambras and a giant Sonoran hot dog. Brunch is exciting as well, what with tangy avocado tomatilla sauces, and poblanos in the chichimigas.

Swift's Attic

Executive Chef Mat Clouser and sous chef Zack Northcutt are turning out impressive small plates loaded with umami flavors, with a variety of international influences and an emphasis on housemade everything. Try the grilled baby octopi and the antelope steak frites. The former Kyoto space has had a shabby chic makeover and we hear the bathrooms are faint-worthy.
