RIVER CITY POPS will present "Let's Go to the Movies!", a program featuring songs from favorite films, dancing, and variety acts. AN EVENING OF SCOTTISH music, song, and dance will be presented as part of the 201st anniversary of the birth of Scottish poet Robert Burns. Performances by Silver Thistle Pipes and Drums and features Ed Miller, Serge Laîné, Isla Ross, and the Hill Country Highland Dancers. THE DISTINGUISHED FACULTY SERIES continues, with a celebration marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Franz Schubert. Performances will be presented by UT faculty members, soprano Darlene Wiley and pianist Nancy Garrett, as well as principle horn with the Austin Symphony, Tom Hale.
