![]() To hear the pundits tell it, live music is dead. Well, we have 32 pages to attest to the flaccidity of that assertion. Tell the 1,000+ bands in this register that live music is dead. Tell their legions of fans -- whether a cozy gathering of 12 at a local coffeehouse to hear the sweet warblings of some young, up-and-coming singer-songwriter or a crowd of 700+ packing Liberty Lunch to check out local faves fresh off the road -- that live music is dead. Tell us about it. We've just compiled an unprecedented number of entries in this year's Musicians Register. Here's to the folks who make our town's moniker, "Live Music Capital of the World" live and spit and breathe and sing. Cheers! - Kate X Messer |
