Mo' Music: Dec. 12
All music guaranteed overheard
By Rob Cohen, 8:40PM, Wed. Dec. 12, 2012
Believe it or not, music can be unearthed from places other than the blogosphere. Here are some things discovered via word of mouth.
"Paper" Explode Into Colors
This peculiar, fun song is a post-punk meets renaissance-fair lament on money. Alas, this excellent group is donesy. Check out their album Quilts.
"Night Faces" Jessica Pratt
Move over Joanna Newsom, Jessica Pratt just lamb-chopped you down the stairs a la Showgirls.
Now that Sonic Youth are gone, I nominate this group to fill the gaping, sloppy hole they left behind.
Since I referenced the show, I'd like to enter the intro into the Booty Bounce Hall of Fame. Azz everywhere, boys and girls.
Remember kids, sad is bad, and happy is cool.
