Yesterday's City Council's parking decision, tweet by tweet

TDH: 8/19/11

Following dueling resolutions, a brief history of the parking meter, and a quick-skim of Robert’s Rules of Order, yesterday City Council voted to expand paid parking hours Downtown, scaling back an broader expansion council OK’d this spring, while slightly increasing the geographic boundaries of the 'compromise' expansion.

This day’s entry is somewhat of an experiment with social media news tool Storify, which seems appropriate considering the Hustle’s flurry of tweetage yesterday. Let us know what you think of the format!
